Alberta Party Opposition Leader Greg Clark has issued the following statement on the start of Rosh Hashanah:
L’shanah Tovah! May this New Year be a day of joy, hope, and peace for you and your families.
Rosh Hashanah is one of the holiest days of the year in Judaism, marking the first of the High Holy Days. At the start of this New Year, I hope Albertans will take time with their families and loved ones to reflect on the happiness found within your community. As the Holy Act of Teshuva is performed this day, we may all look towards our shortcomings and how best to better ourselves and support the betterment of those around us in the coming year.
Our family enjoyed the first night of Rosh Hashanah last night and look forward to celebrating again tonight.
On behalf of the Alberta Party Caucus, I wish you peace, happiness and good health throughout the year.
